PANCREATITIS COLLECTION DRAINAGE
Percutaneous catheter drainage is an important method for drainage of pancreatic fluid collections. In the early stage of the disease (2-4 wk), it is often the method of choice. It is shown to be effective alone in almost 50% of the patients.
