Antiplatelet agents (either aspirin or clopidogrel) are recommended to reduce both the incidence of cardiovascular events and risk of arterial occlusion.
ANGIOPASTY AND STENTING
How long will a stent last? It is permanent. There is just a 2–3 per cent risk of narrowing coming back, and if that happens it is usually within 6–9 months.
BLACK TOE TREATMENT
Over-the-counter ointments, creams, and polishes are usually effective. Severe cases may require a prescription antifungal treatment.
